According to 'Sky Sports', Manchester United's negotiations with Bayern Munich over the transfer of Marcel Sabitzer are on hold but the English side would have to pay £22m for the midfielder if they want to sign him permanently.

Manchester United are delighted with Marcel Sabitzer, who joined the Red Devils in the January transfer window, and his performances and they want to sign him permanently.

The English side began talks with Bayern Munich a few months ago but negotiations are currently on hold due to the change of ownership of the club.

Nevertheless, according to 'Sky Sports', both parties agreed on a transfer of 22 million pounds in the next transfer window for the Austrian midfielder.

Sabitzer has scored three crucial goals for Manchester United in 18 competitive matches but is now out of action due to a knee injury. As a result, the 29-year-old could already have played his last games for United.
