Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen was injured in the match against Reading on 28th January and he has been out of action ever since. However, the 31-year-old seems to be recovered and could be available for Ten Hag soon.

Christian Eriksen suffered an injury in Manchester United’s FA Cup fourth round victory against Reading when he was tackled by Andy Carroll

His coach Erik ten Hag already knew that the 31-year-old would not be able to play again until after the international break: "I think his progress in the rehab is okay. It is going according to plan, so definitely we will see him. But not before the international break," he said at a press conference.

In fact, the Dutchman was very disappointed with the refereeing in that match as he felt the player was put at risk: "I think football has to set limits, restrictions, that you protect the players. I think what football wants is the best players being available on the pitch.

"This tackle and the two tackles after, they don't belong on the football pitch because it's a high risk to injure your colleague, so I think it's worse."

However, Eriksen is recovering and could soon be available for the Red Devils. The Denmark international posted photos on Instagram on Tuesday and showed his recovery process. He could play some minutes in the upcoming Premier League games against Newcastle and Brentford.
