Manchester United are reportedly prepared to accept offers as low as £40 million for Alejandro Garnacho, signalling a significant shift in their valuation of the Argentine winger.

The 21-year-old, once rated at £70 million during the January transfer window, is now among several players the club is open to offloading at reduced prices as they seek to generate funds for new signings under Ruben Amorim.

According to The Telegraph, Manchester United have raised only £25 million so far this summer and are now willing to consider cut-price bids for fringe players not in the coach's future plans.

Garnacho, despite being one of the squad's most marketable assets, is reportedly no longer seen as untouchable. Chelsea are understood to be monitoring the situation closely and may launch a formal bid.

The potential availability of the left winger at half his previous valuation could prove too tempting for the Londoners to ignore as Todd Boehly continues his pursuit of young talent.
