Man United step up Perisic bid

After bringing in Romelu Lukaku, Manchester United are not about to settle and are turning up the heat for a much-wanted player for Mourinho.
Despite Inter Milan sticking to their £48 million asking price for the Croatia international, the Red Devils are very close to striking a deal for Ivan Perisic, who has scored 16 goals in 57 caps for his country.
Manchester United's most recent offer is reported to have been £39 million, but they will up the bid to £45m in order to secure their target.
The 28-year-old is understood to be keen on the move to Old Trafford even though he still has three years left on his current deal with Inter.
The Croatian is set to enter talks with the club over his future, with Man United aiming to seal the move before the Italian club fly to China next week.
