As reported by 'La Gazetta dello Sport', the Juventus board have shown interest in signing Giorgi Mamardashvili. The Italian club sent scouts to the Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium to watch the Georgian goalkeeper who plays for Valencia.

Giorgi Mamardashvili has become one of Gennaro Gattuso's most important men at Valencia. The goalkeeper has earned a place in the starting eleven and has been crucial in a number of La Liga games.

As reported by 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', Juventus sent a scout to the Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium with the aim of keeping a close eye on the 22-year-old Georgian, who has been the talk of the town in recent months.

Mamardashvili has a contract with the Spanish club until mid-2027 and has a termination clause of 100 million euros, so Valencia have covered their backs in the face of recent interest from the giants of Europe.

Juventus' intention, meanwhile, is to find a replacement for Poland's Wojciech Szczesny, who is 32 years old and could leave the 'Vecchia Signora' in the near future. However, the Italian club are not the only club that want him: Manchester United also have him on their radar.

The Red Devils are keen to sign a replacement for David de Gea, who is also facing his final spell at the English club. In that sense, the Georgian goalkeeper would fit perfectly into Erik ten Hag's plans.
