Malcom deal stalls over Barca interest
It had appeared that Malcom's move to Roma was a done deal, but there have been some last minute complications.
Both Bordeaux and Roma communicated earlier on Monday that a deal had been struck for the player, and he was due to travel to Rome to complete the deal.
However, Barcelona have shown an interest in the player at the 11th hour, and Bordeaux have now reneged on their earlier agreement.
As it stands, Malcom is grounded in France and will not be travelling to Italy to complete a medical that was scheduled for Tuesday.
It comes after Chelsea rejected a third offer from the Catalans for Willian, meaning Barcelona have switched their interest after not being willing to pay Chelsea's atronomical asking price.
With Roma fans already waiting at the airport to welcome their player, there is now confusion everywhere as nobody knows what will happen. Roma themselves are reportedly furious, and want the deal done as quickly as possible. As it stands, neither club has taken down their tweets confirming the earlier deal.
