Rodrygo Goes, the Real Madrid player who forced the penalty that Vinicius converted to make it 2-2, described the result as "perfect" for the way the game turned out. He also said he was comfortable with the formation that leaves him on the wing so that his compatriot Vinicius Jr can play more central and praised Toni Kroos.

Brazilian Rodrygo Goes described the draw against Bayern Munich (2-2) in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final as "perfect" because of everything that happened in the match.

"We always think about winning, but we don't want to lose. A draw was perfect because of everything that happened in the match. Now everything will be played at our home, with everything open," he analysed on 'Movistar Liga de Campeones'. "We play at home, with our people and all our strength. We are already anxious. Let's see what happens," he commented on the second leg.

Real Madrid scored the opener when Bayern Munich were dominating the most: "When they think you're dead, that's when you can have the most danger. That's the Champions League," said the Brazilian.

Rodrygo highlighted the strategy implemented by his coach Carlo Ancelotti to complement Vinicius Junior. "Playing on the left and Vinicius on the inside, we are very good. It's good for the team and I hope the coach continues with this", he said.

He also praised Toni Kroos, who provided the assist for Vinicius' first goal. "What a pass! Unbelievable. We tell him not to play for just one year, but for many more. He has a mastery and class that I love playing with him," he said.
