Should Real Madrid be be unable to sign No 1 target Harry Kane, they will reportedly make a summer move for Manchester United teenage sensation Marcus Rashford.

According to Spanish publication 'Don Balon', the 19-year-old has been identified as 'Plan B' for the European champions if they can't lure away Harry Kane from Tottenham.

Club president Florentino Perez wants to add another star striker to their attacking ranks in the summer, after suffering problems in the No 9 department at the beginning of this season, with the injury of Karim Benzema and the lack of a suitable player to step up in his absence.

Kane is certainly the No 1 target for Los Blancos, as they reportedly prepare a £150m bid for the in-form England striker, but Tottenham are said to be holding out for £200m, which might be too much to fork out for the side from the Spanish capital.

However, their 'Plan B' may prove just as difficult to sign as their 'Plan A', as Manchester-born Rashford is unlikely to pine for a move away from his boyhood club, and his current contract runs until 2020.
