Alex Remiro expects Real Sociedad to give their best performance against Real Madrid. The goalkeeper prefers to stay with the positive and considers that a win would give a boost to the 'txuri-urdin' team's morale.
Real Sociedad goalkeeper Alex Remiro, three days before the league game against Real Madrid, stressed that "this is the best opportunity to turn the situation around, get the three points and make the team feel strong again".
The goalkeeper from Navarre said at a press conference that "it's true that the team hasn't been recognisable, with that lack of consistency, but it's something that has already been discussed and trained to face the challenges that lie ahead".
Remiro stressed that he doesn't think the team is far from its best version: "I think that if we can improve on the offensive part of daring, boldness and not show weaknesses at the back, we'll reach our best version".
"It's a season for the older players to push the new players so that they are bold and don't hide. The older players have to support them in that sense, and I'm sure that with this squad, this start will remain a bad formality," added the goalkeeper.
