The French side reported this Saturday that they will finally not make official the signing of M'Baye Niang, so the Senegalese player will stay this season at Rennes.

Saint-Etienne will not be able to count on M'Baye Niang, the 26 year-old Senegalese striker. The French club reported this Saturday in a statement that the player will not be able to join the club and he will be at Rennes for another season.

Despite the fact the deal has not been made official, the club ended up reaching an agreement with the African striker, but the intervention of several agents made the move impossible.

M'Baye Niang played last season at Rennes and he had a brilliant season scoring a total of 15 goals. St Etienne have missed out on a player who was set to be important for them.
