Romelu Lukaku's signing last summer for 97.5 million pounds has been classed by the 'Daily Mail' as the "biggest flop" in Chelsea's history.

Lukaku could end up at Inter Milan this summer. His return to the Giuseppe Meazza on loan is close to being done for close to 10 million euros. One year after his big return to Stamford Bridge.

Because it is worth remembering that the powerful Belgian striker signed for Chelsea almost a year ago for 97.5 million pounds. It was an open secret that was closed to happening, but his performances have been quite disappointing

Therefore, according to the 'Daily Mail', an important media outlet in England, says he is the biggest flop out of all the signings made by Chelsea, especially because of the money spent and the expectations that were laid on him.

Three Spanish players also make the list of most flops: Alvaro Morata (2nd, 60 million pounds), Kepa Arrizabalaga (3rd, 72 million pounds) and Fernando Torres (9th, 50 million pounds).

After the departure of Russian owner Roman Abramovich, Chelsea want to begin a new era and Thomas Tuchel has made it clear that he does not count on Lukaku while the player himself wants to return to Inter for him to get back to his best.
