According to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', Juventus have reached an agreement with the Uruguayan footballer who will have to sit an exam to get his Italian passport. The agreement with Barcelona is the last step for the 'Bianconeri.'

Leo Messi is staying, but Luis Suarez is not. The Argentine footballer's decision not to take Barcelona to court and to stay at the club does not seem to have made a difference to his teammate and friend Luis Suarez.

Coach Ronald Koeman told the Urugayan that he did not count on him for the 2020-21 season and his future lies away from the Camp Nou. It seems to lie in Turin.

In recent days there has been talk of Suarez joining the 'Old Lady'. The striker has reportedly said yes to the Italian side, but problems with his passport have slowed things down.

The conversations have reportedly been fruitful. 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' says that Juve have agreed to buy the former Liverpool man and next week he will have to sit an exam in Barcelona to get an Italian passport. That is because his wife is Italian.

The last thing Juventus need to seal is complete the deal which will see Suarez leave Barcelona. The Catalans will probably not put up too much resistance, but they will not let him go for nothing.

In addition, 'Marca' says that the 33 year-old forward will join the Italian outfit for two seasons, until June 2022. If this is the case, he will be 35 when his contract expires.
