Real Madrid confirmed that the player suffered a soleus muscle injury. With such a busy league calendar, he could miss a large number of matches.

With football every 72 hours, a muscle injury is almost a wreck for any player. And since what was once an overload has now become a torn muscle, the league picture for Lucas Vazquez is looking pretty bleak.

"Following the tests carried out today on our player, Lucas Vázquez, by the Real Madrid medical department, he has been diagnosed with a soleus muscle injury in his right leg. His recovery will continue to be assessed", the Real Madrid club statement said.

The soleus is one of the most treacherous areas for a player, so you have to go with a grain of salt in the recovery to avoid relapses.

The overload of the calendar is joined by the three-month break, so at least a few weeks doesn't take anything away from Lucas Vazquez. Returning in June is practically impossible, and in this time alone he would miss the matches against Valencia, Real Sociedad, Mallorca, and Espanyol.

There will be 5 matches in July, but two of them are the 2nd and 5th (Getafe and Athletic), so it seems complicated that the versatile player can also make them.
