Joachim Low thinks that the likes of Leroy Sane showed their lack of experience in Germany's 3-0 defeat to the Netherlands on Saturday.

The German national team are in an awful run of form currently, after having crashed out of the World Cup at the group stage and having to deal with the fallout of Mesut Ozil's racism allegations leveled at the German FA.

Things seem to go from bad to worse for the 2014 World chmapions as they lost embarrassing to the Netherlands 3-0, the first time the 'Oraje' have ever scored more than two goals in the fixture.

While the pressure on Low is mounting in the press and from fans, the seasoned manager thinks that the lack of experience in his side was a major reason for his team's defeat in Amsterdam.

"The young Leroy Sane and Julian Brandt were a breath of fresh air, but they missed a couple of good chances, maybe because of their inexperience" Low said after the game

"They need time to develop. We are still searching to set up a good balance between the experienced players and the young players."
