Those who enjoy watching the best teams in Europe face each other have a great weekend of football ahead of them. Luckily, the calendars in Spain, England, Germany, Italy and France have coincided to offer a range of world-class fixtures.

The first of the lot will take place in France, where Lyon and Monaco will battle to close the gap with PSG and damage their opponents' title aspirations early on. Kick-off is at 20:45 (GMT+1) at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais.

The Premier League crunch clash between Liverpool and Manchester United will open the matchweek in England. The Reds are hoping to step it up at Anfield while Mourinho's men look to maintain their impressive run of form.

There are two games to look out for in Italy on Saturday, first at 18:00 when Juventus host Lazio, and at 20:45, when leaders Napoli travel to Rome. Four Serie A giants with the title and Europe on the horizon.

Most Bundesliga fixtures will take place on Saturday, but the encounter to look out for will start at 18:30 at the Signal Iduna Park. Borussia Dortmund want to leave their title rivals behind, among whom are RB Leipzig.

A packed schedule on Saturday will lastly see Atletico host Barcelona at the Wanda Metropolitano. The Catalan side, led by the heroic figure of Messi, want to stay at the top. Their first visit to Atletico's flashy new stadium will begin at 20:45.

Finally, the 'derby della Madonnina' will close the weekend of action on Sunday at the Guiseppe Meazza. Inter are currently third and want to continue their rise to the summit of Italian football. AC Milan sit in seventh position and do not want to be left behind.
