After seeing two efforts hit the woodwork, Giovani Lo Celso finally found the back of the net to open the scoring for Paris Saint-Germain in Wednesday's French Cup final.

It was a final that pitted the Ligue 1 champions against third-division Les Herbiers. However, the minnows made a good showing of the first half and lasted 25 minutes with the scoreline at 0-0.

Lo Celso had smacked the post on two occasions but didn't let that deter his hunt for a goal, and it would prove decisive halfway through the first 45 minutes.

The Brazilian picked up the ball outside the box and decided to have a crack on goal from range.

It was a great decision as his well-hit shot fired past opposing goalkeeper Matthieu Pichot and inside the left-hand post to make it 1-0 to PSG.
