Llorente: I will give my all for Atlético

"I feel very happy and content. It was what I wanted, to be here. In the end it came true. I can't wait for this new challenge to begin," said Llorente.

The midfielder didn't hesitate in making a promise to the fans. "I'm going to give everything for this shirt and for this badge. I'll try to win the affection of the fans with my work and my commitment," he said.

Llorente believes that Atlético can achieve whatever they set out to do. "This team has the ability to fight for everything. We have to do it: game by game, step by step. Working like they've been doing all these years," he continued.

The new signing is desperate to get started and to get integrated into the first team squad: "I want to learn from the coach, from my team-mates, improve and achieve as much as possible with Atlético," he said.

The Spaniard highlighted Diego Simeone's role as the face of Atlético: "He is one of the best coaches in the world. He has a unique character: he transmits a lot to his players, I hope to learn a lot from him. I'm really looking forward to training," he said.

And to finish, the 24 year-old gave a shout of 'Aupa Atléti' ('Come on Atleti) as the ex-Real Madrid man expressed his excitement to start his new adventure.
