Atletico goalkeeper Jan Oblak features on the agenda of several Premier League outfits, but one he won't be headed to is Liverpool after they withdrew from the race.
Atletico goalkeeper Jan Oblak features on the agenda of several Premier League outfits, but one he won't be headed to is Liverpool after they withdrew from the race.
Jan Oblak is currently one of the best goalkeepers on the planet and as such, is in the crosshairs of several top European teams. The most recent club to join the list of potential suitors is Real Madrid.
A report by Portuguese publication 'A Bola' alleges that 'Los Blancos' are considering taking over the services of the Atletico Madrid shotstopper, including meeting his €100million release clause.
However, whilst Oblak had previously been linked with Premier League side Liverpool, according to several British media outlets, the Reds consider €100million excessive and thus have withdrawn their interest.
If the English newspaper reports are to be believed, then Oblak, who has not yet finalised a renewal agreement with the Spanish league side, would have to cross one suitor off of his list.
