Liverpool travelled with Wijnaldum and without Lovren
The Croatian centre-back Dejan Lovren is Liverpool's main absence for the Club World Cup in Qatar, in the English team's second semifinal against Monterrey.
According to what Liverpool announced, Lovren will not feature in the 20-man call-up list for the tournament, in which they participate after winning the Champions League last year.
The Balkan defender suffered muscle problems in the Champions League game last Tuesday against Salzburg and cannot be used by German coach Jurgen Klopp, who even included Georginio Wijnaldum in the call up, a player who had to leave the pitch on Saturday in the league game against Watford.
Liverpool's squad list for the Club World Cup is as follows: Alisson, Adrian, Lonergan (goal), Van Dijk, Gomez, Alexander-Arnold, Robertson, Williams (defenders), Wijnaldum, Milner, Keita, Henderson, Lallana, Shaqiri, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jones (midfield), Firmino, Mane, Salah, Origi (strikers).
Liverpool will come up against Mexican team Monterrey on Wednesday (17:30 GMT) at the Khalifa International de Doha stadium. The Mexican team beat Al-Sadd (3-2) in the quarter finals this Saturday.
