Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp is already planning for next season, and high up on their list is a new midfielder. According to 'Daily Mail', Real Madrid's Aurelien Tchouameni would fit the bill, despite a high price tag.

Liverpool are in desperate need of a freshen-up. They are currently sitting eigth in the Premier League, forcing many fans to demand a rethink ahead of next season so that they can get back to their best and fight for as many title as possible.

Faced with the need to strengthen the side, The Reds' are thought to be planning to refresh their midfield. At the moment, stars like James Milner and Jordan Henderson are doing the job, but it's only a matter of time before they're too old to meet the side's needs.

Faced with this, Jurgen Klopp is thought to have brainstormed up a list of players who he thinks would fit the bill. According to the 'Daily Mail', Real Madrid star Aurelien Tchouameni is thought to be a high priority, especially after the English side failed to get the 23 year old last summer.

However, the Spanish giants wouldn't let him go for anything near cheap, The mentioned source reported that the French international would be sold for around £70 million, meaning he would be an expensive option for the former English champions.

All this comes as Liverpool have also been linked several times with Dortmund star Jude Bellingham. It's unlikely the side would be able to afford both, so only time will tell whether they'll be able to make wonders happen to reignite the Anfield faithful's hope in the side.
