Liverpool will play Man Utd in the International Champions Cup, and Jurgen Klopp has laughed off comments from Jose Mourinho about his club's expectations next season.
The 'Reds' are in the USA as they prepare to play in their last International Champions Cup match against Man Utd at the Michigan Stadium.
The venue holds over 100,000 fans, and Jose Mourinho's team filled the ground in 2014 when they played a friendly against Real Madrid, however this game is not expected to be as popular as that occasion.
Liverpool stars Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane took part in training at the stadium on Friday, having returned following representing their countries at the World Cup, with the Egyptian scoring just minutes after coming on in the team's previous friendly match against Man City.
Salah helped Liverpool achieve success last season after finishing with the Premier League's Golden Boot award, but there will be even more pressure for Jurgen Klopp's men to perform this season after spending £175 million on transfers this summer.
Jose Mourinho tried to cause some controversy ahead of the match up, when he said that Liverpool would be expected to win the Premier League this season due to their level of spending, but Klopp laughed off his opposite number's comments.
"I don't even think it is a mind game, I think it is normal. I would never talk about Manchester United if no-one asked me about it." the German coach said.
"I have no problem with what Jose Mourinho is saying, it is a free world and he can say whatever he wants. If he is happy about our transfers even better."
