Liverpool interested in Mathieu
The Reds are looking to reinforce their defence and are looking at the Barcelona player, with reports in France are claiming that Mathieu is Klopp's top target this summer.
'Le Parisien' are claiming that Jeremy Mathieu is Jurgen Klopp's top transfer target this summer. Liverpool have lost two defenders this summer, and are after an experiened defender who will be able to adapt to the team.
Barcelona have five central defenders in their ranks with the arrival of Umtiti and Digne, and Mathieu looks as though he might have to find himself a club away from the Camp Nou.
The France international has a few options this summer, with Besiktas also expressing an interest in him, however it is believed the 32-year-old would favour a move to Anfield over Turkey.
