Liverpool edging to closer to signing Ragnar Klavan
The 30-year-old defender who plays for German side Augsberg, is on the verge of a £4.2m move to Anfield after impressing Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp last season.
The Estonia captain played both games in Liverpool's Europa League ties against Bundesliga outfit Augsberg and impressed Klopp in the Red's 1-0 aggregate victory.
Klavan has played for Augsberg for four years, making 140 appearances for his current side.
Klopp is keen to add to his defensive options, after seeing Martin Skrtel and Kolo Toure leave the club and with Mahmadou Sakho, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip all picking up injuries in pre-season.
