Manchester United and Lukaku get off to a dream start. The Belgian striker scored a double, before Martial and Pogba completed a deserved win for the Red Devils. The Hammers were powerless and never looked capable of causing trouble for Mourinho's men.

Blind's volley bounced onto the roof of the net after Valencia crossed from the right. Very close to putting the game out of reach.

Rashford looks to curl a ball into the bottom far corner, but it bounces off the upright and goes across goal. Very close from the striker.

Lukaku shot blocked!

The striker with the chance to grab a hat-trick. Rashford broke with pace and the ball was worked to Lukaku on the right. The Belgian's right-footed finish was blocked by the defence.

Double change West Ham

Fernandes and Noble make way for Rice and Sakho.

De Gea saves!

Fernandes found Arnautovic inside the box and his header caught De Gea off his line. The ball was creeping under the bar but the Spaniard stretched a hand to tip it over.

Goal disallowed

Mkhitaryan finished off a good move from united with Rashford squaring the ball, but the striker was caught offside.

Lukaku gets a double!

What a start for the Belgian. Mkhitaryan crossed the ball from the left and Lukaku rose to head the ball into the bottom corner.

Pogba releases Rashford with a through ball to run at and the striker gets into the box but his shot whistles over the bar.

West Ham get the ball rolling!

45 minutes to go and Bilic will be hoping for a few changes from his team.

We reach the half-hour mark of a game which has been dominated by Mourinho's side. The Hammers have managed to cross the halfway line a handful of times. 84 per cent possession for the home side in the last 10 minutes.

Hart palms the ball away

The keeper raced off his line to get a hand on the cross with Lukaku looking to get on the end.

Mata again!

Pogba found Mata behind the defence with a lobbed ball, and the Spaniard attempted to square for Lukaku but the ball was kicked behind for another corner.

Chance Rashford

The youngster twists and turns inside the box and looks for an opening but his shot is deflected for a corner.

What a chance United!

Hart stretched to block Mata's initial shot, but the rebound fell to the Spaniard at the byline. He pulled the ball back and Lukaku failed to get on the end as Masuaku cleared.

Mkhitaryan shot blocked

United getting closer. The Armenian has a go from the edge of the box but it bounces off a defender. West Ham are nowhere to be seen.

West Ham pinned inside their own box

Yet Hart has not been tested. Valencia drilled a low ball across the area, but no United players got on the end of it.

Mourinho will be happy with the patient build up but will want to see some action. Mkhitaryan gets the first shot on goal as he blazes his effort into the stands.
