The semi-final dates will be on January 31 and February 1. The second leg fixtures will be on February 7 and 8. Timetables to be confirmed.

Two interesting fixtures

A crunch semi-final clash between Barcelona and Valencia, and an interesting tie between Leganes and Sevilla. The semi-finals are decided. The first legs will be at the Camp Nou and Butarque, while the return fixtures at Mestall and the Sanchez-Pizjuan.

The second tie will see Sevilla face Leganes, with the first leg at Butarque and the second fixture at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan.

It will be a straightforward draw. Any team can be pitted against the remaining three for the semi-finals which will take place on January 31 and February 1. The second leg fixtures will be on February 7 and 8.

Barcelona want to defend their title

Ernesto Valverde's men suffered a scare at the hands of Espanyol but finally made it into the semi-finals of their favourite cometition. They have won it 29 times, including last year's victory over Alaves in the final.

Four teams left in the competition

Barcelona turned the result around against Espanyol, while Valencia beat Alaves in the penalty shootout. Sevilla shocked Atletico as did Leganes, who took the Bernabeu by storm to knock out Real Madrid.
