Somehow Arsenal are level! Their game plan finally pays off, with the Gunners hitting Bayern on the break. Ramsey plays a perfect ball in from the left for Iwobi to run onto and head into the bottom left corner from 12 yards!

Sanches does brilliantly to flick a ball into the box for Bernat to run onto. He squares it for Robben but Monreal clears for the Gunners.

Alaba with plenty of time in the box and tries to flick it in between his legs but he makes a mess of it!

Can Arsenal get an equaliser?

Bayern have lost their attacking edge as the second half has gone on. Walcott runs down the left and strikes from just inside the box but it is a comfortable save for Fruchtl. Walcott had Iwobi to his right which may have been a better option for the Gunners.

Bayern have dominated the first half here in China. There have been chances at both ends but Bayern fully deserve their Lead. Lewandowski scored a penalty in the 9th minute and that's the difference as the teams head back to the changing rooms.
