Lionel Messi will play for IK Junkeren in the Norwegian fourth tier, this season. However, it is not the Barcelona player, but a 16 year-old who changed his name to that of the Argentinian star.

Messi will play for the Norwegian side. At 16, the young footballer joins IK Junkeren, the Norwegian club reported in a statement.

However, it is not Lionel Messi, the world famous Barcelona and Argentina star. It is Daniel Are Knutsen, who decided to change his name to have that of his idol.

"I had planned to change my name for a while," he told 'VG'. "Messi is my biggest idol and with my dedication to football, it was nothing more than to try," he continued.

So Leo Messi will play for two teams this season although they are two completely different players. "I want to say that I try as best as I can to play his way. It's possible to see some similarities, but my talent probably isn't as great," Messi commented.

The player will not be in the IK Junkeren first team to start with although the coach of the Norwegian club hopes to count on Messi this season.
