Jesse Lingard has given West Ham new life. 'Lingardinho', as he's often known, returned once again, this time against Leicester. The player scored a brace in barely 15 minutes of the match.
Lingard scored his first of the encounter on the half hour mark, striking home a beautiful and precise volley. After a poor clearance from Leicester, Coufal put the ball in at the front post, where the English international appeared to make it 1-0.
With Leicester on the ropes, 'Lingardinho' returned to wreack havoc. This time it was on the counter, with a through ball that he simply had to direct towards goal.
Bowen just about stayed onside as he broke Leicester's defensive line, which was later reviewed by VAR, playing the ball into Lingard who was one-on-one with the onrushing Schmeichel. He slotted it home to make it 2-0 just before half time.
