Lyon are enjoying a fine season in Ligue 1, currently sitting in third place in the French top flight, a position that would be good enough to secure them a return to the Champions League, and their fine form owes a lot to their attacking trio of Memphis Depay, Nabil Fekir and Mariano Diaz.

All three have scored more league goals than PSG star Kylian Mbappe thie season, with the youngster having found the net 13 times in Ligue 1 this campaign and 21 times in all competitions.

Mariano Diaz has scored 18 times in 30 games in the League, with his tally of 21 in all competitions matching Mbappe. Curiously, Fekir also has the same number of strikes in all competitions as the former Monaco man, but his record of 16 league goals once again places him ahead of Mbappe.

Former Manchester United flop Depay is the only player of the three with less overall goals then the French international (17), but with 14 of those having come in the league he does narrowly edge out the 19-year-old on that front.

It is a different story when we look at Mbappe as part of the 'MCN' though. Edinson Cavani has plundered 25 league goals this season, Neymar 19 despite his injury and Mbappe 13, which takes the trio's total to 57 Ligue 1 strikes, some nine clear of Lyon's own attacking triumvirate.
