Robert Lewandowski's current form is making everyone at Barcelona happy, but not so much the club's board. The reason being has nothing to do with his on-the-pitch performances, as the Pole is starring every time he puts on the Barca shirt, but rather with regards to the finances.
According to 'Bild', as part of the €45 million deal with Bayern Munich, the Bavarian board included in the contract €5 million in add-ons.
That money will be split season by season with regards to the goals Lewandowski gets in official games for Barcelona. The amount stipulated was 25 goals per season, and so far in 2022-23, he is only three goals away from them getting €1.25 million.
From not being available because of three match ban to now going through a good spell of form the Pole is having in the league, Bayern should have already started to get more money in their account.
