Bernd Leno is hardly playing this season at Arsenal. Newcastle, who had already weighed up hois signing, has the intention of becoming the goalkeeper to form part of his evolution. However, he is thinking of returning to the Bundesliga where he has an offer from Bayer Leverkusen.

Bernd Leno is having a difficult season at Arsenal. For the first time since he arrived at Arsenal. For the first time since he arrived in the 2018-19 season, he is the subsitute. In his place, Mikel Arteta has played Aaron Ramsdale.

At the age of 30, it seems unlikely that he is going to recover his place for the Gunners. The player has a contract until 2023 and the Londoners would not be against a possible sale given that his contract expires in 2023.

Newcastle had already showed interest in him. Arsenal seemed happy to let him leave, but it was he who turned down this option. However, the Magpies are continuing to try and make him their goalkeeper.

Nevertheless, this option seems unlikely after the reports in the 'Daily Star'. According to the cited media outlet, Leno has the firm intention of returning home to Germany. He has already played for Stuttgart and Bayer Leverkusen. In fact, he reportedly has an offer from Leverkusen to join them soon.
