Lenglet has conceded three pens which have cost points
Clement Lenglet gave away a penalty against Cadiz and that is now his third this season. All of them have cost Barca points and no one has conceded more than him.
Lenglet has cost his team points in three important Barca games this season. The French defender, who is not in good form, has had several bad performances and he conceded the penalty which gave Cadiz a draw at the Camp Nou.
The defender had done this before on matchday six of the Champions League group phase against Juve and in 'El Clasico'. Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos converted the penalties.
On all three occasions, these mistakes cost Barca points. They would have almost certainly beaten Cadiz had it not been for the penalty. They would still have had a chance against the Italians (the penalty made it 0-3 after 52) and against Real Madrid, it was 1-1 after 62 minutes at the time of the incident.
Lenglet takes risks in the box and it makes Barca even weaker at the back. Barca conceded four in the Champions League game with PSG and that was more proof of Barca's leaky defence. Not even starting Pique could solve things.
