England's new star centre-back has been attracting a lot of attention back at home, with Manchester United being understood to be considering a £50million bid for the Leicester man.

Due to the interest that Maguire has been receiving, Leicester will be looking to sweeten his current deal with the club.

They will be opening new talks with the player, which according to the 'Daily Mail,' would take his weekly earnings from £45,000 to £75,000 a week.

This new deal would make him one of the highest earners at the club.

Maguire still has four years left on his current contract, but it looks like Leicester are thinking ahead and trying to prevent any possible offers from elsewhere.

So far, Leicester have shown no interest in selling Maguire.

A few of the big name Premier League sides have shown interest over the past few weeks.

Maurinho is reportedly an admirer of the centre-back, and would like to make an offer. However, he would have to sell one of his own centre-backs to make the deal viable.

Tottenham previously tried to sign Maguire before he moved to Leicester, and are still interested. The new price-tag following the World Cup could be putting them off.
