According to 'Sky Sports', Claude Puel is in advanced talks with Leicester to become their new manager, after the sacking of Craig Shakespeare last week.
The 56-year-old coach was sacked as Southampton boss in the summer, despite finishing eighth in the Premier League and reaching the EFL Cup final, and he has been out of work since June.
Puel was boss at Nice before moving to the Saints 18 months ago, but won only 12 of his 28 Premier League games as his side finished just six points above 17th.
Leicester sacked Craig Shakespeare a week ago, and were reportedly initially happy to keep the squad in the hands of caretaker boss Michael Appleton in the short-term.
However, according to the aforementioned source, the Foxes are now concerned they are looking at the same candidates as Everton, who sacked Ronald Koeman earlier this week. Sean Dyche has been the frontrunner for both jobs.
