The German scored a sensational goal against Inter Milan at the Bernabeu. The shot across the keeper was perfectly placed and it was out of the reach of Handanovic.

Real Madrid, who were second best in the early exchanges against Inter Milan, went ahead thanks to a top class goal by Toni Kroos.

After several chances from the Italians, who started threatening, the German's class gave Real Madrid the lead with an accurate strike from the edge of the box with his left foot.

Rodrygo crossed from the right hand side, Casemiro let the ball pass and Kroos prepared himself for a left footed shot which went away from Handanovic and made it 1-0.

Despite this game, Inter Milan's heads did not drop and they kept on dominating a Real Madrid side who kept on looking for the counter and were not at all comfortable.
