Ezequiel Lavezzi continues to be in an ordeal and this time he has needed medical help. 'L'Equipe' published that the Argentine has been admitted to a psychiatric centre in Buenos Aires for his addiction to alcohol.

He tried of his own free will, but alcohol addiction has got the better of Ezequiel Lavezzi. The former footballer needs medical help and has been admitted to a psychiatric centre in Buenos Aires, according to 'LEquipe'.

After a first attempt in another medical clinic, 'Pocho' has not been able to beat this game for weeks. The player himself opened up in words to 'eltrece', where he confessed to journalist Matias Vazquez.

"It's hard, but I have to do it. I have to change my life and my habits. And I have to do all that for my son. I had gone too far. I tried to detox on my own in Pilar's house - another clinic in the northern outskirts of Buenos Aires - but I couldn't. I had no choice," he nodded.

Ezequiel Lavezzi's state of health has been worrying for weeks. His 18-year-old son, Tomas, denied an alleged overdose by 'Pocho': "My dad is fine and undergoing treatment. Stop making up things that are not true. He has not taken an overdose or anything else they say.
