Lampard to snap up Chelsea's Mason Mount as first signing
Derby boss Frank Lampard will soon be making his first signing by securing 19-year-old Mason Mount from Chelsea.
The deal has been held up due to the Chelsea managerial situation, but according to the 'Daily Mail' it should go through within the next 36 hours.
The young midfielder looks to be a hugely talented prospect for any club, having scored 14 goals in 38 games while he was on loan at Vitesse Arnhem last season.
Lampard reportedly held talks with Mount last week, and has persuaded Chelsea to agree to the move.
Mount was in Russia over summer as a guest sponsor of Nike, alongside Ryan Sessegnon and Phil Foden.
England boss Gareth Southgate has shown interest in the youngster, but would want to see him playing regular football.
