Hakim Ziyech's first match has been loaded with emotions. The new player made his debut for Chelsea in a pre-season friendly against Brighton but had to come off before full-time.
Just when he was having his best spell, a knock to the knee forced Frank Lampard to take off his new player in the 54th minute. After the 1-1 draw, the manager of the English outfit spoke to the club's media to speak about Ziyech's physical state.
"Ziyech had a great match. Some of his contributions and passing and quality levels were great. He has a bit of a knock on his knee, a little bit of a small twist which we will have to assess", Lampard commented after the match.
"Hopefully it is not too bad, but in the performance, he was really good", Lampard added about the 27-year-old winger, who became a star on Twitter because of his great match.
