Lacazette wants to join Atletico for free
Arsenal will not extend Lacazette's contract and the striker will have to look for a new team. He wants to play in LaLiga and sign for Atletico Madrid.
Lacazette will leave Arsenal at the end of the season after months of not knowing what his future would be and not leaving in the summer. The French striker's contract ends in 2022.
There won't be a contract extension. Mikel Arteta already said he wouldn't treat Lacazette differently, and the attacker is already looking for a new destination.
According to 'The Daily Express', the footballer wants to play in LaLiga and play under Simeone. A couple of months ago, Atletico wasclose to signing him.
Lacazette wants to play alongside Griezmann and Atletico believes it could work out for them, but the Spanish side is pending to see how much he asks for in terms of wages.
This season, he has already scored three goals and an assist in eight games, starting just three of them.
