The Competition Committee has said that Barca v Real Madrid which was scheduled for 26th October, will be played on 18th December. La Liga, however, have made clear that they are not happy and are thinking of appealing the decision.

"La Liga does not share the Competition Commitee's decision to rearrange El Clasico for 18th December, the La Liga head, Javier Tebas, said.

And they are not thinking about staying silent. La Liga are studying the documentation which has just been received to decide whether to appeal, against whom and to which organisations."

"We consider that, as the statement is so short, there is a lack of judicial norms and a reference to various reports La Liga haven't had access to, a detalled study to evaluate what action needs to be taken, " the league said in a statement.

El Clasico was scheduled for 26th October, but the situation in Catalonia made the fixture be moved.

The Competition Committee, after agreeing with Barca and Madrid, have set a new date. 18th December has been chosen for the Clasico.

La Liga are not happy at all and, in a statement, they have made clear that they will study the documentation in depth and appeal if needed.
