La Liga brings Alaves v Getafe match forward to 18 May
La Liga has made a first change to one of its matchday 37 fixtures. Deportivo Alaves' match against Getafe, with nothing at stake, is brought forward to Saturday 18 May at 21.00 CEST.
Little by little, the European and relegation places in La Liga are being decided. This will mean that there is very little at stake in the last two matchdays.
For the moment, La Liga has already changed the first of the matches. It is the match between Alaves, who are already mathematically saved, and Mason Greenwood's Getafe, who have no chance of reaching Europe. The match will finally be played on Saturday 18 May at 21.00 CEST, one day earlier than originally scheduled.
The rest of the fixture list, for the moment, remains on Sunday 19 May from 19.00 CEST, although there are several matches that may be changed depending on what happens on matchday 36, the midweek fixture that starts on Tuesday.
