Kounde put to rest rumours: 'I will stay at Barca'
After rumours of a departure, Jules Kounde took it upon himself, for the second time, to express his desire. Speaking to 'BeIN Sports', the Frenchman said: "My future is at Barcelona, of course.
The uncertainty surrounding Jules Kounde's future is coming to an end. After stating that he was not comfortable playing at full-back, the Frenchman made sure to express that his wish is to succeed as a 'Cule'.
Despite the dizzying offers from the Premier League, the former Sevilla man was interviewed by 'BeIN Sports' and took the opportunity to completely put to rest any rumours: "My future is at Barcelona, of course".
The Frenchman, who did not play more as a full-back than as a centre-back for much of the season, would be willing to continue despite playing in a position that is not to his liking.
Kounde arrived last summer for a fee of 50 million euros and quickly earned a place in Xavi's starting eleven. Whether at right-back or at full-back, the Frenchman put in some great performances and won the hearts of the 'cules' in his first season at the Catalan giants.
