Gabriel Kobylak was the star of the day in the Polish league. The 22-year-old goalkeeper on loan at Radomiak Radom scored the goal of his life from the edge of his area after a blunder by Puszcza Niepolomice goalkeeper Oliwier Zych.

The Polish Liga produced the picture of the season in Puszcza Niepolomice's 1-1 draw with Radomiak Radom. The visitors salvaged a draw thanks to a goal from the edge of his own box by goalkeeper Gabriel Kobylak.

The 22-year-old Legia Warsaw player took a long throw to his striker. What he didn't realise was that the power of it and the bounce on the pitch changed everything.

Oliwier Zych was over-confident and misjudged the trajectory of the shot. He was caught off guard by the elevation and, when he tried to correct his shot, he was unable to clear the ball, which landed in the back of the net.

The most surreal goal so far in 2024 helped Radomiak Radom breathe a breath of fresh air, eight points clear of relegation. The home side, meanwhile, are in the relegation zone with 25 points, pending Korona Kielce's performance against Widzew Lodz.
