Klopp renews with Liverpool until 2024!

Jurgen Klopp has sent a message to all Liverpool fans through his social media pages about his contract renewal. Klopp was initially appointed as Liverpool manager on October 8, 2015.

In the message he says that they have decided to "continue the good work" and that they have "agreed a new contract until 2024".

He explains some of the reasons for renewing his contract with the Reds, stating that he loves it at Liverpool and that "it's a wonderful club", being a good moment to continue at the club.

It was not a difficult negotiation and Liverpool fans will be extremely happy that their popular manager has decided to stay on at the Reds team.

Assistant managers Peter Krawietz and Pepijn Lijnders have also agreed deals to continue working collaboratively alongside Klopp.

In Klopp's official statement, he says that “This club is in such a good place, I couldn’t contemplate leaving" and “For me personally this is a statement of intent, one which is built on my knowledge of what we as a partnership have achieved so far and what is still there for us to achieve".

“When I see the development of the club and the collaborative work that continues to take place, I feel my contribution can only grow".

Today’s news means Liverpool and Klopp’s journey together will continue into the next decade after he agreed a contract that will extend his Anfield story until 2024.
