VIDEO: Klopp on the quality of both Milan teams
Jürgen Klopp gave his thoughts on the quality of Italian football after his Liverpool side successfully navigated their way past AC Milan in the group stage as well as Inter in the round of 16.
Liverpool hosted Inter Milan in a Champions League last 16 second leg on Tuesday.
Klopp's side went into the game with a 0-2 advantage and were the better team in the second game. However, it was goalless at half-time and Lautaro Martinez gave Inter the lead with a superb goal just after the hour mark. Alexis Sanchez saw red for Inter a couple of minutes later and Liverpool dominated. The Reds hit the post three times, but ended up losing 0-1. Klopp spoke after his team made the quarters and you can listen to his comments in the video above!
Liverpool will be in the quarter-final draw which takes place on Friday 18th March at 12:00 CET. A reminder that the away goals rule no longer applies in the competition and it is a completely open draw.
