Jurgen Klopp rose to the defence of his technical team after they received more criticism from journalists who follow the side daily. The German, after the win against Everton, he declared: "Have some balls and go for me".

After the 2-0 win in the Merseyside derby, Jurgen Klopp spoke in the press conference to give his opinion on his side's performance, the good atmosphere there was at Anfield and, most of all, to respond to the harshness of the journalists who criticised his assistants.

The German, who had started with much aplomb, did not let a question go which he answered firmly: "If I let myself get helped by someone who doesn't give me the right advice, it's my fault, not theirs." "Have some balls and go for me", the Liverpool manager said.

After going up against the journalists, Klopp tried to calm the waters by making a joke: "Now you don't have any more questions for me, you're scared".

"Relief, that was the main feeling at full-time. Happy with the performance. We needed to play the game that we wanted to play and not the one Everton wanted to play", the manager commented about the derby win.
