Joshua Kimmich opened the scoring for Bayern Munich against Real Madrid after some neat interplay from his team set him free.

The move started from a goal kick and after a string of passes Kimmich was suddenly free down the right wing.

The Real Madrid defence had been sucked out of position and he had space to run in on goal.

He closed in on Keylor Navas who had a decision to make with Robert Lewandowski waiting in the middle

As it was he showed his hand too early, leaving a huge space at the near post for Kimmich to fire in to - which he did.

Navas got a hand on the ball, but could do nothing to keep it out.
