Kieran Trippier in talks with Bayern Munich

Kieran Trippier could leave Newcastle this winter. Trippier, who left Atletico Madrid in 2022 for €14 million to become the leader of the Magpies' new project, is currently in negotiations with Bayern Munich.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the two clubs are not negotiating a loan deal, but a permanent move for an unrevealed fee.

Thomas Tuchel's side have only one right-back in their squad - Noussair Mazraoui - and are therefore looking for a new addition in that position.

The same source added that the England international is optimistic, but that it all depends on Bayern, who are also interested in Nordi Mukiele, PSG's versatile full-back who does not mean much to Luis Enrique.
