Dundee appealed against the veteran striker's red card against Rangers but the Scottish FA have stuck with their decision

Miller was making his return to Ibrox after his bitter departure from the Glasgow club and was sent off for two yellow card offences.

Already having received one caution after a challenge on former team mate Andy Halliday left the Rangers man with a broken nose, Miller got his marching orders for a foul on Borna Barisic.

His club were ''disappointed'' by the outcome of the review, which meant that Miller will be banned for their next two matches, in which Dundee will face Hibernian and Hamilton.

Boss Neil McCann didn't even think the striker's second booking was a foul insisting: "He absolutely got the ball"
