Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius was at it again during Sunday's International Champions Cup clash with Borussia Dortmund as he was lucky not to see a mistake punished by the German side.

Just three minutes into the game in Charlotte, North Carolina the German raced off his line to intercept a pass, but could only clear straight to a yellow shirt.

The man in question was Maximilian Philipp, who took a touch before going for goal from just inside the Liverpool half.

Karius' heart was no doubt firmly in his mouth at that point, but he was handed a repreive as Philipp's effort lacked power or placement and gently trickled wide of the post.

His two costly errors in the Champions Legaue final look to have had a lasting impact on Karius, who is likely to revert to Liverpool's second-choice goalkeeper once again following the arrival of Alisson.
